A magical day at La Fontelina Beach club in Capri.
La Fontelina Beach Club is one of my favorite places to spend an entire day while in Capri. It is an absolute must if you are staying on the island (which I highly recommend you do). Book an umbrella and some comfy loungers at La Fontelina and make a reservation for lunch in their restaurant. This will be a day of lazing in the warm Italian sun, sipping peach sangria, and gazing out at the beautiful sea and rocks of faraglioni in the near distance. La Fontelina is located on a rocky beach (no sand at all) but jumping off those rocks into that beautiful blue Mediterranean Sea is like a dream.
The food in the restaurant is simple but glorious. I’m not sure where to begin when describing each delicious dish. Have several starters to begin, such as the caprese salad, the grilled octopus, and stuffed zucchini blossoms. For your main dish consider the potato crusted sea bass (absolutely delish), the linguine with clams, or the simple tomato basil spaghetti.
